Frustrated Majors

As I think back of the days I have been from my secondary education. My ideas about the future job that I want was so different from the course/major that I am pursuing right now. It was my mom who dictated my future job. Unfortunately, I took up Nursing and I didn't finish it. We cannot turn back the days, weeks, months and years from that decision. If I only I could but I can't. Anyway, I will just post here the following courses that I really wanted before. Here they are:

Economics - I want to be an economic professor, work in a bank or even a financial analyst. My mom told me that I like to be GMA, but I am not. It is also a preparatory for law as well. I just thought that this major is not really meant for me.

Pharmacy - "Magiging tindero ka lang", a statement told by one of my girlfriends. It was a thunder in my mind to take up this course. It's unique, fantastic and for smart kids. You know, its about drugs and it is really cool. Suddenly, I realized that it is hard to find a job and license as well. I just changed my mind.

Psychology - Whew! Psychologist! Cool! I can read minds... wahaha. It was a question for me to take this major because I know that people who take this course have a big enigma about who they are. I asked my professor in General Psychology about this but she discouraged. Even my friend who finished the same course. Probably, it is about the job oppurtunity or workload.

International Studies - I was fascinated with this major because my classmate in elementary shared that her sister is taking up this course. It has a lot of oppurtunity and anyone can travel around the world. I just realized that it would be in books but not in real life. Honestly, I really like this major for studying culture is great. That's life, this major is not really meant for me. Hay!

Biology- Of course! to be a scientist discovering a lot of things. I was very interested with this course because it is about dissecting, environment and health. Science has been my favorite subject since I was in high school. Especially the microscope thingy!... My officemate before told me that it has a less jobs. I can be a medical representative to earn a lot of money. Suddenly, this course was just a want not a need for my life. Fortunately, I didn't take up this major.

Broadcast Communication- This is the course that I am taking right now. I feel happy about this major for it is easy and interactive. Being a communication student is a way to educate, inform and entertain people from different walks of life. Fortunately, it was a surprised when I got this course. My aunt just helped me and proposed this major. Anyway, I am enjoying this field for it relates to the society's scenarios and real life. It's also techie. Mastering communications will be my next plan. Good Luck to my new endevor!
