Sad quotes through text message and even in Facebook; they are really infective. We are sometimes ‘Sponge bob’, a person who absorbs aches, pains and sadness from rants of our friends, family and lovers. We don’t know what to do, or sometimes we tend to ignore that we feel the same emotion.
In progress, sadness to depression unconsciously happens. But what is saddening is the high rate of suicide nowadays. It’s a different problem but this might be the worst effect related to the topic.
Everyone hates depression. It’s a moment of lacking energy or none at all. We don’t perform our task with positivism. And worse, we are unmotivated. This will start the bad habits of laziness, low self-esteem and hopelessness.
Let’s get into details of this depression. Then, list all the real situations in our life that happens today. Finally, make our own solutions to conquer this psychological disorder.

• If you’re an EMO, does it mean that you have depression?
• Is wearing black or violet a sign of depression?
• Is listening to sad songs a sign of depression?
These questions are vague but somehow answerable whether you have an emotional problem or Depression.
Anyway, don’t mind those sad things. As they’ve said, Happiness is a choice.
• Try to smile every second. It may sound crazy but hello, its worth youthful.
• Don’t mind those negative comments. Just listen to them and analyze whether you’ll do something to change it or not. It’s you who will change it alone.
• Go on cheap or expensive travel. Whether you go to cheap places or high end cities or towns. The point here is that you go to a different, new place to change your boring life for a moment.
• Draw using Paint from your computer or get a pencil and paper. It won’t hurt a try. Somehow, your sadness will be unleashed.
• Read good books. Instead of sharing your sadness to your friends. Crumple your brain with those novels.
• Have a coffee session with your friends. But please, lessen the small talk about problems.
• Watch funny and inspirational movies. Just do a little research and find the best one.
• Don’t read bad news in tabloids and newspapers. Especially political turmoil and Economic depressing stories. Hello, you’re not the president, politician, sociologist or even an economic manager to solve those issues. Just be a proactive citizen following simple rules of this country.
• Watch comic shows on TV or listen to radio. They will make you laugh.
• Stay away from your friends who are walking problems without solutions. Problems are meant to be solved and not to be discussed for a week, a month or even a year. Your friend needs a random drug test.
• Live a carefree life. Don’t take life seriously that you may get a car accident everyday, too nosy about incurable diseases, and being greedy about power. You live once, so enjoy and savor each moment. Just do what you want in orthodox way.
• Dance in any tune your body wants. It releases your tension and expresses your innate feelings.
• Involve to civic organizations that will change the routine of your boring life. Whether it’s a choir, feeding program, religious group and sports organizations.
• Climb a mountain and ‘SHOUT’.
• Do something random. Walk, run, eat, take pictures and change it from number ten to one or seven to two according to your priorities.
• Write a prose or poem. You may do it either through a social networking blog posts, diary, journal or a freedom wall.
• Buy a pet or a plant and take care of them everyday.
• Get into dating and find the right man/woman in your life.
• Lastly, pray to God in the silence of your heart. You don’t need to go into a quiet place. For as long as you pray truthfully. It helps.
