I woke up this morning and planned to write articles for my assignment about Registry Cleaning programs. Unfortunately, laziness has been my comfort. And my will don't like it too. I've been really upset writing the same old articles. The buyer of my writing doesn't like to give new assignments.
Anyway, instead of being hot headed about it. I decided to read news online. I saw the facebook's post of my high school friend about the Manila Bulletin online. So, I decided to read it too.
Most of the headlines are about the political sorties of each presidential apirants. Their lines in each campaign. Where did they go? What do they do?
Popularity, incredible words and breezy colors are all over the photo galleries of online newspapers. Let's paint the town Yellow in Tarlac. The Orange ribbons waving to those kid's hands in a Grade school at Laguna. The Optimus Prime truck (red, silver, pink and blue) in Cavite. The Mano Po photo shoot in Quiapo. The Guest Speaker ala Graduation ceremonies in all universities. And the washing of feet in Luneta.
How entertaining our politics in this country? If you will rate it from one to ten, you would surely rate it more than that. They can sing, dance, speak like poets and even crack jokes like comedians.
Filipinos are really not into brain twisting high end of other countries. The Americans don't vote and they give a forty percent return from the last poll. The reason, it's not their business. And leaders do their job as demanded by their description.
Take a look at yourself, instead of being busy with life serving your family to have a fine meal all day. We tend to talk about politics and its social implications to the society. We are still superficial.
Another thing, surveys are really an apple of the eye of everyone. We tend to be fiction crawlers of who are leading and not. We don't know what may happen, a black horse may take charge of the game. Even the underdogs may win.
Fair Enough, I'm not a registered voter. So, I don't care who'll win. I just want that the people of this country will open their eyes that they are the one responsible for building a better nation and not the future leaders.
Take a look at this scenario, our future president will be the teacher of our classroom. Therefore, we students have the right to decide on what learning style we want. They could be the captain of the ship and we are the passengers and crew that in the end we will be departed by ports, will and decision. They could be doctors who may treat us and we are patients who could ask second opinion and refuse treatment.
Whoever wins the race, I hope that graft and corruption will decrease; hence, terminate from its roots. And utilitarianism be the first priority.
Lastly, Filipinos should wake up that we are all responsible to make a difference for the country's development. Be critical as I pleased.
