GLEE all the way!

I don’t know Glee until my sister borrowed DVD Series from her friend. At first, I feel bored. They sing, sing and act. But when I focused my eyes, sticking to each scene, well it amazed me much. It is similar to High School Musical 1-2-3. It all boils down that singers in high school are losers. Hahaha!

Anyway, Glee touches every viewer’s heart. The camaraderie of choir singing, it denotes unity and brotherhood. Why not? We all need one another (not just in singing) in order to accomplish one GOAL.

Hence, everyone is unique in their own special way. The characters are losers; however, they make their losing character as a power to overcome trials. And it makes them strong through the help of singing, brotherhood and collaboration. It is the best!

Of all organizations we involve in, shit happens – conflict, insecurity, jealousy and financial problems. Glee will teach us hope to conquer those. Its unique organizational management – democratic and fun-filled is like.

How are the songs in Glee significant to our real lives? Let us not interpret it the way it is use to be, make it simple through examples. I just sort out the songs that I really like.

Pili ka, Isa lang ha, Walang Sisihan!

Parang bata lang. Pero totoo naman. Ang pagpili ng lider ng ating bansa ay isang desisyon na walang sisihan. Anim na taon mo siyang magiging lider pero pwede naman palitan kung – namatay siya sa habang nasa termino pa siya, tatanggalin ng taong bayan o aalis siya sa pwesto.

Sa ika-10 ng Mayo, mamantsahan na naman ang daliri mo, pipila sa mahabang presinto sa paaralan, uuwi na may meryenda mula sa politiko at kapag minalas; makakakita ng karahasan sa daan. Mga tradisyunal na nangyayari sa halalan.

Ang isang bago sa Eleksyon ay ang PCOS (Pikos kung bigkasin) machine. Automated na ang bilangan ng balota at boto mo. Kaya malamang automated na din ang pandaraya. Kung sa manual counting nga, nagkakadayaan, sa automation pa kaya?

Pero ano ba ang nais natin sa bagong lider? May nabasa akong sanaysay na sinulat ni Christopher Scott (Essays: What makes a good leader?). Sabi niya ang lider ay may tatlong bagay na dapat isaalang-alang.
1. The leader must practice what he preaches. Simple lang yan, kapag sinabi niyang huwag kang manigarilyo, at aksidente mo siyang nakitang ginagawa ang sinabi niya… Maniniwala ka pa ba?
2. He has to look after and protect those around him. Simple lang yan, kung lider ka, unahin mo muna ang kapakanan ng iba bago ang iyong sarili.
3. He must develop other good leaders. Simple lang yan, magiging inspirasyon siya sa susunod na magiging lider at nasasakupan niya.

Pang elementarya lang ang mga simpleng eksplanasyon na ‘yan. Nakakalimutan kasi natin na ang lider ay dapat simple lang. Simple sa kanyang adhikain, simple sa salita at gawa.

Aanhin mo ang lider mo kung ang simpleng bagay ay hindi niya kayang maayos. Ang tawag dun, “BANGAG.”

Kaya pili ka, isa lang ha, Walang sisihan!
